CLYR CO2 Dosing Valve One-Year Limited Warranty

This limited warranty is provided by Aquatech Partners d/b/a Clyrpool (CLYR), 10795 Hammerly Blvd., Space A08, Houston, Texas 77043. It applies to the CLYR CO2 Dosing Valve purchased from CLYR or an authorized CLYR seller, whether sold separately or identified as a component of a CLYR CO2 microdosing kit.

Coverage is limited to the valve or solenoid assembly identified on the original sales record. A CO2 cylinder, regulator, pressure gauge, tubing, fittings, injection hardware, controller, power supply, wiring, monitoring probe, installation work, and other kit components are not covered by this valve warranty unless expressly included in another written CLYR warranty.

The warranty period is one year beginning on the original date of purchase shown on a valid receipt, invoice, or CLYR order record. If proof of purchase is unavailable, CLYR may use its documented shipment, activation, or installation date to determine the start of coverage.

A replacement valve does not begin a new one-year period. It remains covered for the unexpired portion of the original valve's warranty period.

CLYR warrants that the covered CO2 dosing valve will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal pool-equipment use when installed, powered, wired, commissioned, operated, leak-tested, and maintained in accordance with current CLYR documentation and the applicable regulator, cylinder, electrical, plumbing, and safety requirements.

A covered defect is a failure of the valve hardware that prevents the valve from reliably opening, closing, sealing, or responding to the approved CLYR control signal and that is not caused or materially contributed to by an excluded condition. Configuration, controller, network, probe, regulator, pressure, tubing, or installation issues that can be corrected without replacing the valve are not valve hardware defects.

For an eligible claim, CLYR will replace the failed valve with the same valve model or SKU. If that model or SKU is no longer manufactured or reasonably available, CLYR may provide a functionally equivalent CLYR-approved successor valve compatible with the documented installation.

CLYR will approve and ship the replacement no later than 30 calendar days after receiving a complete claim containing the information and evidence reasonably required by this warranty. If CLYR requests a missing item within five business days after submission, the claim becomes complete when that requested item is received, and the 30-day period runs from that completion date.

CLYR will pay for the replacement valve and standard outbound shipping and will provide prepaid standard return shipping if it requests the failed valve. Removal, installation, leak testing, regulator service, cylinder service, electrician or pool-service labor, travel, expedited shipping, water treatment, and related costs are not included unless required by applicable law or separately agreed in writing.

Submit the CO2 valve warranty claim form at www.clyrpool.com/warranty/co2-valve. The claimant must provide accurate contact, purchase, installation, product, defect, and condition information and must reasonably cooperate with safe remote diagnostics requested by CLYR.

Before inspection or removal, shut off the CO2 cylinder, safely relieve downstream pressure according to the equipment instructions, disconnect power, and use a qualified person when required. Do not disassemble, bypass, energize, pressurize, or attempt to repair the valve solely to diagnose a warranty claim.

• Claimant name; customer or company name; email; phone; and complete shipping address.
• Valve model or SKU, available serial or batch identifier, original purchase date, seller or order number, and proof of purchase.
• Installation details, including installer, pool address, connected controller, supply voltage, regulator pressure, orientation, and leak test.
• Defect notice date, symptoms, controller command, and troubleshooting performed.
• Photographs of the valve, label, wiring, regulator connection, tubing, and overall installation, plus disclosure of damage, repair, modification, or tampering.

Coverage requires installation in the approved flow direction and orientation; use of the specified voltage, current, wiring, regulator, fittings, tubing, and pressure range; protection from weather and water beyond the product rating; and completion of required leak checks before operation.

The valve must not be used as the cylinder's primary pressure regulator or safety shutoff unless CLYR documentation expressly identifies that use. The cylinder and regulator must remain secured, ventilated, maintained, and operated under their manufacturers' instructions and all applicable safety requirements.

This limited warranty does not cover failures, leakage, damage, or service needs caused by or resulting from any of the following:

• Improper installation, reversed flow, unsupported orientation, incorrect fittings or tubing, inadequate support, improper grounding, wiring, voltage, current, polarity, controller configuration, or use contrary to CLYR documentation.
• Pressure outside the published valve or regulator limits; regulator malfunction; cylinder contamination; debris; oil, grease, thread sealant, scale, moisture, corrosion, freezing, overheating, fire, flooding, chemical exposure, pest intrusion, or environmental conditions outside the published rating.
• Failure to perform required leak checks, inspection, cleaning, maintenance, winterization, cylinder securing, ventilation, or safe shutdown procedures.
• Impact, crushing, cracked or deformed bodies, damaged threads, cut, crushed, stretched, or spliced wiring, damaged seals caused by service, or other physical damage.
• Misuse, neglect, accident, unauthorized opening, disassembly, modification, bypass, improper repair, or tampering that caused or materially contributed to the failure.
• Normal wear, cosmetic change, ordinary seal aging, operating noise within specification, or a condition corrected through installation, pressure, wiring, controller, configuration, or maintenance work without valve replacement.
• A CO2 cylinder, regulator, gauge, tubing, fittings, injection point, controller, power supply, wiring, probe, third-party equipment, or installation work that does not arise from a covered defect in the valve itself.
• A product whose model, purchase, installation, ownership, or claimed operating history cannot reasonably be verified.

CLYR may inspect photographs, diagnostic records, wiring, pressure information, security indicators, and the returned valve when determining eligibility. Preserve the valve in substantially the condition existing when the claim was submitted and do not disassemble it unless CLYR provides written instructions.

CLYR may deny coverage when physical damage, an unauthorized modification, improper repair, disassembly, contamination, or tampering caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure. CLYR will not deny coverage solely because a consumer used non-CLYR parts or independent service unless CLYR reasonably determines that the part or service caused or materially contributed to the failure, or unless otherwise permitted by law.

A replacement may be new or professionally recertified and will be functionally equivalent to a new valve of the same model or approved successor. CLYR may require return of the failed valve after the replacement ships. Returned hardware becomes CLYR property when replacement is completed.

The purchaser is responsible for having the replacement installed, pressure-regulated, wired, commissioned, and leak-tested by a qualified person in accordance with all applicable instructions and safety requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the valve replacement described in this warranty is the exclusive remedy for breach of this written limited warranty. CLYR is not responsible under this warranty for loss of use, loss of gas, pool downtime, chemical imbalance, damage to other equipment, service calls, labor, lost revenue, or indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive, or consequential damages.

These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law and do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including any applicable rights relating to personal injury caused by a defective product.

To the extent permitted by law, any implied warranty applicable to the covered CO2 dosing valve, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited in duration to the one-year term of this written warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or exclusions of incidental or consequential damages, so those limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Nothing in this warranty excludes or restricts a right or remedy that cannot be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
